Scope

This Code applies to all suppliers, contractors, and vendors. Compliance with the mandatory requirements outlined below is non-negotiable, while adherence to our expected best practices is highly encouraged to align with our values.

We expect all suppliers to uphold our core values:

Mandatory requirements

These are non-negotiable obligations that all suppliers must meet. Failure to comply may result in corrective actions or termination of the supplier relationship.

 

1. Human rights, labor practices, and health and safety

 

Suppliers must:

  • Comply with all applicable labor laws and human rights regulations, ensuring fair wages, no forced or child labor, and safe working conditions.
  • Provide a safe and healthy working environment, including responsible handling of hazardous materials.

 

2. Security and data protection

 

Suppliers must:

  • Comply with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) to safeguard personal and sensitive information.
  • Implement robust cybersecurity measures reflecting industry best practices.
  • Protect physical infrastructure from theft, damage, and unauthorized access.

 

3. Ethical business practices and anti-corruption

 

Suppliers must:

  • Reject all forms of corruption and bribery.
  • Disclose any conflicts of interest.
  • Comply with anti-slavery and anti-human trafficking laws.

 

4. Monitoring and compliance

 

Suppliers must:

  • llow audits and inspections to verify compliance with this Code.
  • Take corrective actions in the event of non-compliance.
  • Ensure their own supply chain adheres to the same standards.

 

Best practices and expectations

While not strictly mandatory, we strongly encourage suppliers to adopt the following best practices. Adopting these will align you more closely with our values and long-term sustainability goals.

 

1. Social and environmental responsibility

 

We expect suppliers to:

  • Minimize environmental impact and strive for carbon neutrality by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and supporting the circular economy.

We expect suppliers to:

We expect suppliers to:

Consequences of non-compliance

Failure to comply with this Code may result in corrective actions, suspension of services, or termination of the business relationship. Serious violations, including unethical behavior, legal breaches, or repeated non-compliance, may lead to immediate contract termination and potential legal action.

 

Reporting non-compliance

Suppliers are required to report any breaches of this Code. Reports should be directed to our procurement team at supplier@glesys.com. Confidential reports can be submitted via the reporting channel available at https://glesys.whistlelink.com. All reports will be reviewed and investigated appropriately.

 

Monitoring and improvement

The CEO is responsible for the annual review of this document to ensure its relevance and effectiveness.
