Why we are hiring
Demand for our services is growing – spanning SaaS transformations, IoT backends, and mission-critical enterprise workloads. To support this growth, we're expanding our senior Solution Architect team to lead the design and delivery of high-impact infrastructure solutions.
What you will do
You'll take the lead on complex, business-critical projects – guiding customers as they evolve their infrastructure across traditional, cloud-native, and hybrid environments.
Key responsibilities
- Initial conversations: Collaborate with tech leads and stakeholders to understand business goals, budget constraints, and technical needs.
- Solution design: Design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient architectures – including computing, networking, security, and licensing.
- Design validation: Test and refine prototypes or proofs of concept to reduce risk in complex or novel implementations.
- Delivery: Lead implementation by overseeing technical governance and mentoring delivery engineers throughout the process.
- Continuous development: Recommend strategies for automation, optimization, and long-term scalability in production environments.
What we are looking for
Must-haves
- 5+ years designing and deploying infrastructure solutions (on-prem, cloud, or hybrid).
- Strong background in Linux and virtualization platforms like VMware or KVM.
- Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals, including routing, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing; advanced network experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem (e.g., Windows Server, Active Directory, licensing models).
- Proven experience building resilient, high-availability architectures.
- Comfortable working directly with customers and navigating ambiguity to co-create solutions.
- Awareness of modern application architecture and dev practices (you won't be coding, but empathy for dev teams is valuable).
- Fluent in Swedish and English, with strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience designing multi-tiered solution stacks.
- Background in consulting or Professional Services roles.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS SA Pro, Azure Architect, VCP, RHCE).
- Hands-on skills with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Familiarity with regulated industries (e.g., finance, public sector) or sustainability-oriented infrastructure goals.
